Describe an occasion where you attempted something and failed. What happened? How did it make you feel? Did it discourage you from trying again? Did it make you want to try again? How did people react to your failure? Did the failure disappoint you?
Now describe a time where you attempted something and succeeded. What happened? How did it make you feel?Did it make you want to try again? How did people react to your success?
Now describe which of the two feelings, failure or success, teaches you more. Did the joy of succeeding make you want to continue trying or did the shame of failure act to strengthen your drive?
I tried to do good in school, but I didn't do so well because I slacked off. I felt like crap. No it didn't dicourage me from trying again. I still want to keep on trying again. My parents didn't react so well to this. It did disappoint me.
The time I attempted to get my license and I got it by studying hard. It felt awesome succeeding. It showed people that if they work hard. They will get what they want.
The failure feeling teaches you more because it shows how you messed up. The joy of success made me want to continue what I'm doing.

If you assure yourself one wish that would alter the rest of your life what would it be? Why would you choose this? How do you think it would positive affect you? What negative things could come from this wish? How do you think it would affect the people around you?
If I had a wish that would alter the rest of my life it would be to win the lotto. I would choose this so i didn't have to go to school or going to work. It would save me the problem of doing any work. The negative things that would come from this wish would be that I would become even more lazy. It would change them into people who want money.

Imagine you find a time machine that allows you to change 3 events that occurred in your past. What three moments would you change the outcome to? Why did you choose these particular moments? What happened? How would u change the outcome? What do you think would happen as a result of your change?
Is there any advice that you would give yourself at any particular moment in your life? If so, when? What would you say? How do u think you (in the past) would react?
